Noragami is said to be a shonen. We should take the prediction back: “Noragami” can be a shonen. That ambiguous words so ambiguous that theory says it can be given by a target market (literally meaning young man, teenager), but that naturally it has end up practically a genre alone. Male protagonist, friends and camaraderie, several fights, lots of humour and occasionally a much more serious Plot. Probably always, or virtually always, settled within a fantastic world or at the least in a world with several fantasy elements.
Which means that is this “Noragami”? Properly… actually, yes. There are all these substances in greater and lesser measure, but it surely transmits something several, as it fails to end up anchored inside “simplicity” (not since something bad) that always has the shonen. It can be atypical. It well said that the protagonist is masculine and has now friends, but not necessarily a relationship like Luffy’s together with his “nakamas” in “One Piece”. It’s true there are fights, but it’s not they may have a great importance inside Story, you won’t discover fights of a few chapters as “Dragon Ball” or they are going to become a archipelago of techniques together with increasingly strong powers as with “Naruto”.
Comparisons separately, one of that strong points from this Anime is precisely its number of situations, that ability to combine several circumstances. There are usually more serious moments the fact that Plot is moving on, more relaxed moments which includes a fairly good humour (remember people to “Gintama”, conquering distances), sad together with melancholic moments, legendary moments of measures and struggle… virtually everything. And also every one in its correct measure, very well fitted with an agile habit.
The staff of Characters is not really too extensive. Not too remarkable, in this sense people say it’s more typical. Nevertheless, they do their own job and I recently found them pleasant. That protagonist, Yato, some others like Hiyori and secondary Characters such as Kofuku and Daikoku are generally good Characters. The only person who squeaks me a small amount is Yukine, at least in the main season (nearly each of it). I’m apologies, but I’m not the main who’s putting in place with selfish, firecrackers together with unbearable pre-teen Characters. However they seem very popular, even fans can find their anime figures merchandise in several anime shop online. They become completely insufferable in my opinion in their foolish crusade against almost everything and everyone.
I spoke earlier regarding the varied “Noragami” circumstances. This sensation is in addition contributed by the fantastic Soundtrack of that show, which adapts perfectly to the current diversity. Instrumental songs of classical trend, electronic music, cultural songs… Great work in the composer. Also special mention to get a good ending. That opening, although primary, is no a lot more than standar in my view.
Finally, despite continuing the Story within a second season together with leaving many drop ends, the Plot is usually interesting, especially considering they may have only had 12 chapters to cultivate it. There holds a lot to know and clarify, but somehow the final would not be using place at just about all if it needed to be a unique months. It is worth seeing even though the shonen tend not to catch your observation, “Noragami” is a better shonen.
